We are thrilled to share our recent renovation work at Nassau Country Club, where we transformed four key spaces—the Women’s Locker Room, the Calamity Jane House, the Trophy Room, and the Golf Shop—into thoughtfully reimagined environments that elevate both functionality and the overall member experience. Each space was updated with a refined design approach that honors the club’s heritage while introducing modern comfort, elevated materials, and hospitality-driven details.
The Women’s Locker Room renovation embraces a serene, spa-inspired aesthetic, featuring warm gray tones, soft whites, and elegant brass accents that bring a sense of understated luxury. Crisp new lockers were custom-designed for improved storage and ease of use, while the refreshed bathroom includes classic basketweave tile, updated vanities, and durable luxury vinyl wallcoverings. The result is a calming, sophisticated retreat where members can prepare for a round of golf or unwind afterward in complete comfort and privacy.
The Calamity Jane House underwent the most dramatic and transformative redesign. Originally serving primarily as storage for golf clubs, the cottage lacked functionality and charm. We reclaimed half the structure and reimagined it as a warm, inviting lounge that now feels like a true mid-course destination. The revitalized space includes a fully equipped kitchen, bar-height tables for casual dining, cozy sofas for relaxation, traditional dining tables for longer stays, and a custom-built banquette that anchors the room. This thoughtfully planned layout encourages golfers to pause, recharge, and enjoy food and drinks in a welcoming environment that enhances the flow of a day on the course.
We also refreshed the historic Trophy Room, enhancing both its architectural character and its role as a storytelling space. Updated lighting highlights the club’s treasured memorabilia and achievements, while refreshed finishes and furnishings create a comfortable, elegant setting for gatherings, award ceremonies, or quiet reflection on the club’s legacy. The space now stands as a proud centerpiece that bridges tradition with timeless design.
The Golf Shop received a clean, modern update designed to improve circulation and elevate merchandise presentation. Strategic layout adjustments create better flow for members and guests, while refined display fixtures and a more curated visual approach lend the shop a boutique-like feel. This refresh not only enhances the shopping experience but also reflects the elevated identity and attention to detail that define Nassau Country Club.
Collectively, these renovations blend timeless design, enhanced functionality, and a refined aesthetic—contributing to a cohesive, hospitality-forward environment across the property.
